The Fall of Everett McGill plays at the Outland all the time, so you have no excuse to not stop by and check them out! When I listened to their tracks on their demo cd I was really shocked at how much they really shock out! Maybe I was expecting something folksy or redneck, considering I know a couple of the members fairly well, but when Ballad started playing I had a flashback to some greater era... I think it was the 80's! With sharp leads on the guitar and perfect bass, the four songs on their MySpace page remind of some old school Metallica or Judas Priest, mixed with some Johnny Cash. The lyrics just reinforce that thought. But get your own opinion, these guys are great and definitely worth your time!
