There are people living among us who know where and when to find great local jazz musicians. Some of the best are almost impossible to find anywhere other then in the clubs and bars, and occasionally on public tv. Distant Relative is one of those bands. Richard Kittleman, Ray Castrey and Phil Croy are the members of the band who play today. The band has been around for many years, and had been in the big back in the early 90's when PBS used to have a show called Ozarks magazine. The group has played together since the 80's, but when I googled the band allI found was an EBAY page dedicated to selling their latest album. (Click link to see page!)
